paddling for first nations mental health
Two coastlines. 200 km. One mission.
This year, Cormach Evans is taking on the ocean, twice, to raise vital funds for First Nations youth mental health and wellbeing.
Strong Brother Strong Sister supports over 1,000 First Nations young people through mentoring, in-school programs, and youth hubs across the Geelong and Darwin regions. These programs give young people a safe place to belong, to be heard, and to build the confidence and connection that mental health and wellbeing are built on.
To keep that work going, and growing, Cormach is paddling 200 km across two of Australia's most iconic coastlines:
Every kilometre paddled is a kilometre closer to a fully funded future for these hubs, spaces where First Nations youth can access mentoring, connection to culture, and mental health support when they need it most.
Two paddles. One purpose.
Help us get there.
Paddle One: Aireys Inlet → Geelong
100km along the Wadawurrung Country coastline, in support of the Geelong Youth Hub.
100km across open water on Larrakia Country, in support of the Darwin Youth Hub.
Paddle Two: Tiwi Islands → Darwin
